Per the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), contractors of DoD are required to implement National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) 800-171, Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations, no later than December 31, 2017.

Let PCSS help set your business apart from others by showing that you comply with and meet the requirements of NIST 800-171.  PCSS can perform an assessment of your IT Security compared to the NIST 800-171 requirements, help your team document compliance, and where not compliant, help develop a plan of actions and milestones to quickly reach compliance.

Here is a summary of the Security Controls required by NIST 800-171.  These are a subset of a much larger set of controls for NIST 800-53.

If you are a contractor for DoD, or a subcontractor to a DoD contractor, don’t let the requirements of meeting NIST 800-171 put your existing and future contracts in jeopardy.
